23rd May, 2011 Irish Lottery News
Last week it seemed that all the luck was falling on the Irish, Lotto Plus one game, with two separate players winning the jackpot throughout the week. While all this happened, the main Lotto draw rolled and by Saturday was soaring to almost €4 million. Let’s take a look at what happened over the weekend with the Irish Lottery:
Canny Irish players were placing their bets on the Euromillions rollover on Friday evening. Unfortunately that jackpot landed in France, but there was still the Irish Lottery rollover on Saturday evening to look forward to.
By the time of the Irish Lottery draw on Saturday, ticket sales had pushed the jackpot up to €3.9 million. Players watching the draw saw the winning numbers 25 – 26 – 28 – 35 – 36 and 40 drawn, the bonus ball was 39.
Just one player matched the jackpot, collecting €3,911,401 and another two lucky players collected the second tier €25,000 prize for matching five main balls and the bonus.
The next Irish Lottery draw will take place on Wednesday 25th May 2011 and the estimated jackpot for that draw is €2 million. Don’t forget to buy your lottery tickets for that draw and check back for the winning numbers after the midweek Irish Lottery draw. Also there’s the Lotto Plus one draw to play, plenty of players are finding their luck with that game lately. Plus many Irish players will now be looking to the midweek Euromillions draw for big jackpots.
