7th February, 2011 Irish Lottery News
Last week marked an extraordinary week for Irish Lotto players since two different jackpots were won. If you’re interested in finding out how much was won in the two jackpots, here are the results:
On Wednesday February 2nd, 2011, the winning Irish Lotto numbers were 1-2-14-24-25-30, and the Bonus Ball was 27. The winning Lotto Plus 1 numbers were 5-7-10-11-16-34, while the Bonus Ball was 25. The Lotto Plus 2 winning numbers were 2-15-22-23-24-37, and the Bonus Ball was 34. Several numbers were drawn twice throughout the three lotteries including 2, 24, 25 and 34. We had 2 winners, one on the Lotto Plus 1 and the other on the Lotto Plus 2.
On Saturday February 5th, 2011, Irish Lotto winning numbers were 4-5-6-15-20-25, and the Bonus Ball was 19. Before we get into the jackpot winner, it should be noted that the number 25 has occurred twice in the February Irish Lotto already, and three times throughout the Irish Lotto and Lotto Plus 1 drawings combined. Perhaps the lucky Irish Lotto jackpot winner predicted this trend as they matched all of the numbers to win a huge €4,018,495 prize!
The winning Lotto Plus 1 numbers were 2-7-15-31-33-35, and the Bonus Ball was 37. There were no jackpot winners in Saturday’s Lotto Plus 1 drawing. However, there was another jackpot winner in the Lotto Plus 2 drawing; the winning numbers were 8-13-19-34-39-44, and the Bonus Ball was 2. The jackpot winner earned a €250,000 prize for correctly matching all of the numbers. Along with this, it’s also worth noting that the number 34 has turned up twice in the last two Lotto Plus 2 drawings.
The next Irish Lotto, Lotto Plus 1 and Lotto Plus 2 drawings take place on Wednesday February 9th, 2011. The Irish Lotto jackpot will be around €2,000,000.
