A Mixed Week for the Irish Lottery
There were mixed fortunes for players of the Irish Lottery this week, as the draw on Saturday 14th July 2012 saw one ticket holder winning the triple rollover jackpot of €3,084,281, and last night’s draw, Wednesday 18th July 2012, seeing no jackpot winner. The winner of Saturday’s jackpot has not yet been named, but it is known that the ticket was bought in Dublin, so if you bought an Irish Lottery ticket from the Dublin area, check your numbers!
Both draws saw winners in the second tier prize group, with two winners from Saturday’s draw and one from last night’s scooping the €25,000 prize for matching five numbers plus the Bonus Ball, so again, check your tickets! Plus, a total of 67 ticket holders matched five numbers in both draws too, netting €2,381 from Saturday’s draw and €1,428 from Wednesday’s draw.
The winning numbers for both draws, plus historical draws should you have older tickets you need to check, can be found on our results page.
This means that the jackpot from last night rolls for the first time, with an estimated top prize for the draw on Saturday, 21st July of €2.5 million.
However, if it’s a bigger prize you have your eye on, you could do worse than pick up a Euromillions ticket, as the draw on Friday 20th July 2012 is an eight times rollover with an estimated jackpot of an eye watering €101 / £79 million. So make sure you get your tickets in plenty of time, and good luck with whatever lotteries you decide to play!
