Double Irish Lotto Delight for Dublin Ticket Holders
Wednesday night’s Irish Lotto draw produced a double dose of delight for two ticket holders from Dublin. First off, a player from the nation’s capital won a jackpot worth €2.3 million in the main game, before another lucky entrant correctly matched all six numbers to land the Lotto Plus 1 top prize of €500,000.
Wednesday's winning numbers were 7, 19, 20, 32, 34 and 43, with 45 appearing as the Bonus Ball. This latest win in the main game is the eighth of the year and the third victory in the space of just six draws. In fact, this is the most successful period of 2017, narrowly edging out a run of three wins in eight draws which occurred in May. The winner of the latest big money prize is yet to make themselves known to National Lottery officials and has 90 days to claim their prize.
The main draw also provided cheer for another player who experienced the warming embrace of good fortune. The ticket holder matched five main numbers and the Bonus to walk away with €45,119. There were an additional 23,796 prize winners, each of whom stand to collect a reward ranging from a €3 scratch card for matching two main numbers and the Bonus to €2,255 for correctly predicting five main numbers.
The jubilation in Dublin continued long into the night as a player landed the Lotto Plus 1 jackpot. This is the first time that supplementary success has been enjoyed in the draw since Saturday 2nd September. Of course, you don’t have to live in Dublin to win an Irish Lotto prize this Saturday. If you would like to bulk out your back pocket with a cheque for €2 million, you can pick your numbers online or play through any authorised retailer. Good luck!
