Eight-Figure Irish Lottery Jackpot
The Irish Lottery jackpot is estimated to break the eight-figure barrier for the midweek draw as the Saturday night results once again saw the jackpot role. This was the eleventh rollover for the Irish Lottery and on Saturday night the jackpot rolled in at an impressive €9,552,026. Whilst the jackpot remained elusive two players managed to match five main balls and the bonus drawn to take home the second prize €25,000. The next estimated jackpot is €10 million and should attract quite a lot of interest from Irish Lottery players.
The Irish Lottery results for the game on Saturday 24 March were 01 – 03 – 20 – 31 – 34 – 38 and the Bonus Ball number was 33. Although the Irish Lotto jackpot itself proved elusive on Saturday, two tickets did manage to win €25,000 each by matching five of the main numbers plus the Bonus Ball. Another 59 tickets matched five main numbers only and won a third-tier prize of €1,819 each. The total number of prizes won was 57,547.
In the Irish Lotto Plus 1 game on Saturday, one ticket matched all six main numbers to win the top prize of €350,000. The results in that game were 08 – 11 – 18 – 21 – 23 and 24 and the Bonus Ball was 14. Four tickets matched five main numbers plus the Bonus Ball to win a second-tier prize of €3,500 each and there were 63,568 prizes won in total.
Now that the Irish Lotto jackpot is ready to break through the eight-figure barrier it is widely predicted that demand for Irish lottery tickets will soar. Buying tickets online is a great way to avoid the offline queues and will also eliminate the risk of tickets being lost or stolen, so if you fancy having a go at the €10 million Irish Lottery jackpot from the comfort of your own home, feel free and good luck!
