Ireland Only Raffle To Create Millionaire on 5th May
A special edition of the Ireland Only Raffle will take place on 5th May, guaranteeing that one lucky player will win €1 million alongside the main EuroMillions draw.
The Ireland Only Raffle always creates ten winners of €5,000 in every draw, with a unique code automatically generated along with each line of EuroMillions numbers and winners selected at random. In next month’s promotion, however, these ten winning codes will then be placed into a separate draw and one lucky ticket will be picked out to become a millionaire. The other nine players will still scoop €5,000 each.
This is the second time that a special Ireland Only Raffle draw such as this has taken place, after a man from Co Leitrim landed a seven-figure sum on Friday 17th February. The winner, who bought his ticket from the Newtowngore Post Office on the day of the draw, said he was ‘over the moon’ when he thought he had won €5,000, and was stunned to discover he had won an additional €1 million.
