Irish Lottery Jackpot Estimated €3.5 Million
The second draw of the month took place for the Irish Lottery on Saturday night and there was a jackpot of just over €3.1 million available to win. However, no players managed to match all six of the numbers drawn win to win the top prize on offer, so now the Irish Lottery jackpot is estimated at €3.5 million for the next draw that will take place on Wednesday night. This is now the third time in a row the Irish Lottery jackpot has rolled over, so it will be interesting to see if this top prize continues to rollover or if in fact it will be won on Wednesday night.
To win the top prize in the Irish Lottery players have to match all six of the numbers they selected on their ticket with all six of the numbers drawn. However, some players find it a challenge to select six numbers, therefore looking at the Irish Lottery statistics can help to decide which numbers to pick.
On the 4th November 2006 the Irish Lottery become a 6/45 lottery system and since then a series of numbers have made it into the Irish Lottery results more than others. The most popular numbers to be drawn are:
- 38, 3, 12, 2, 13 and 39.
All of these numbers have been selected more than 85 times each, however opposite to that there are numbers which rarely get drawn and these include:
- 43, 14, 25, 16, 33 and 8.
Whether any of these numbers will make it into the Irish Lottery results on Wednesday night remains to be seen. However, if you fancy the sound of becoming the first Irish Lottery jackpot winner of February 2012 have your tickets ready for this mid-week draw and you could match the numbers drawn and walk away with the top prize.
