Irish Lottery Jackpot Hits €5 Million
The Irish Lottery jackpot has now hit the €5 million mark after players in last five draws have failed to match all six of the numbers drawn. However, will this be the case again in tomorrow night’s Irish Lottery draw or will any ticket holders match the numbers drawn to win the jackpot that is estimated at €5 million? The last time the Irish Lottery jackpot was won was on the 15th February when one winning ticket that was bought in Dublin matched all six of the numbers drawn to win the jackpot that was worth just over €4.8 million.
Since then players in the Irish Lottery have failed to match the numbers drawn, meaning that the top prize in this lottery has now rolled over a total of five times allowing it to reach the €5 million mark.
There has only been two Irish Lottery jackpot wins so far for this year. One has already been mentioned but the other jackpot win (the first for 2012) happened on the 25th January 2012 when one winning ticket, which was bought in the North West matched the Irish Lottery results to win the jackpot that came out at €5,482,894 – the highest jackpot amount seen this year for the Irish Lottery.
It is will be interesting to see if the Irish Lottery can remain elusive and actually surpass the highest amount already seen this year. However, if you fancy winning this Irish Lottery jackpot in tomorrow night’s mid-week draw make sure you have your tickets ready and you never know the luck of the Irish might just be on your side!
