Irish Lottery Jackpot Increases to €3.5 Million for Saturday Draw

Saturday’s Irish Lottery jackpot now stands at €3.5 million after no players were able to match the six winning numbers in the draw held on Wednesday night. Irish Lottery players will now be hoping for a big weekend win. While no one took home the jackpot on Wednesday 16th July, a whopping 30,887 players still managed to secure a prize of some kind. The winning numbers from Wednesday’s draw, as well as a full prize breakdown, can be found on the Irish Lottery Results page.

If you’re tempted to buy a ticket for the chance to win the rollover jackpot on Saturday, then you may want to consider where you purchase that ticket.

The last time there was an Irish Lottery jackpot winner was on Saturday 5th July when the top tier prize of €4.4 million was won by a family from County Clare who claimed their life-changing prize on 10th July and opted for anonymity.

This jackpot win came just four months after another County Clare resident scooped the Irish Lottery top prize of €8.3 million on 5th March. Incredibly, last year saw another two winning tickets purchased in County Clare, with a Limerick resident picking up a €6 million prize in August 2013 after crossing the border to buy a ticket in Lahinch, and a couple from Quin winning €5.5 million just a few months later in November 2013. With four big jackpot wins in less than a year, attention is now firmly focused on the Banner County to see if the winning streak will continue.

If you’d like to participate in tomorrow night’s Irish Lottery draw, tickets can be purchased online by clicking on the Lottery Tickets tab or in person from an authorised retailer. Good luck!
