Irish Lotto Results for 6th September 2014
This Wednesday’s Irish Lotto jackpot will feature a quadruple rollover jackpot after no ticket holder matched all six main numbers on Saturday night. Players will now be vying to win a very healthy €4 million top prize when the draw is made in Dublin on Wednesday 10th September.
The winning numbers for Saturday’s draw were 6, 9, 11, 21, 33 and 38 with Bonus Ball 26. Although the main prize remained elusive, over 40,000 players did win cash amounts ranging from the fixed award of €5 for matching three main numbers to €1,259 for matching five main numbers. No ticket holder managed to win in the second tier which offered a fixed prize of €25,000 for anyone matching five main numbers and the Bonus Ball. Visit the Results page for a full prize breakdown.
Wednesday night’s €4 million jackpot comes in the middle of a week in which we could well be witnessing the final throes of summer with sunny, warm weather forecast for the whole of Eire before showers return at the weekend. Not that it would matter to anyone who scooped the top prize and we’d hazard a guess that part of it would be set aside for a tropical holiday to escape the autumnal gloom.
If the thought of white sand, azure sea and a cocktail served in a coconut has taken your fancy, then you can buy your tickets ahead of Wednesday’s draw from our Irish Lotto tickets page or by visiting an authorised retailer.
