Irish Lottery Results for Saturday 29th August 2015
Irish Lotto fans will have €5 million to play for on Wednesday evening after no one managed to bank the jackpot in the draw on Saturday 29th August. However, there were more than 32,000 winners on the night, with two players matching five main numbers and the Bonus Ball to pocket €25,000.
The winning numbers were 10, 14, 22, 24, 26 and 44 with Bonus Ball 12 and other prizes awarded on the night ranged from €5 for matching three main numbers up to €2,464 for matching five main balls. Wednesday’s Irish Lotto draw will be the last using the current 45-ball format, with two more numbers being added from Saturday 5th September. In addition, Bigger Better Lotto will boost the €5 award for matching three main numbers to an average of €9, the €25,000 prize for matching five main numbers and the Bonus Ball will rise to an average of €100,000 and there will be a new prize of a €3 scratchcard for matching two main numbers and the Bonus Ball.
The Lotto Plus 1 jackpot will grow from €350,000 to €500,000 and Saturday will see the first Lotto Plus Raffle draw, in which multiple players who opt to play the additional Lotto Plus games will win €300 by matching a special four-figure code.
In order to fund the exciting new prize structure, the price per line of playing Irish Lotto will increase from €1.50 to €2, with a minimum purchase of two games. Entering the Lotto Plus games will remain at 50c for each line.
