Irish Lottery Results for Saturday 5th September 2015
The Irish Lotto draw on Saturday 5th September was the first to use the new, expanded ball pool of 47, but no one could match the six main numbers dispensed to snap up the €5.2 million jackpot. However, more than 51,000 ticket holders won prizes on the night, with 15,831 claiming the brand new prize of a €3 scratchcard for matching two main numbers and the Bonus Ball.
The numbers drawn were 7, 9, 17, 20, 26 and 27 with Bonus Ball 40 and other amounts pocketed on the night ranged from €7 for matching three main numbers, up to €928 for matching five main balls. To find out more about the updated rules for playing Bigger Better Lotto, visit the How To Play section.
The Lotto Plus games have had an overhaul too, with two players in Saturday’s draw scooping the enhanced prize of €5,000 for matching five main numbers and the Bonus Ball in Lotto Plus 1. The Lotto Plus Raffle saw 110 ticket holders match the winning code 7346 to bank €300 in the game’s first ever draw. Wednesday’s Irish Lotto jackpot will stand at €6 million, the result of eight rollovers since a syndicate of two banked €2.5 million on a ticket they bought whilst holidaying in Rosslare, Co Wexford.
If you fancy your chances of stopping this run of rollovers, or maybe becoming the first to grab the increased prize of around €100,000 for matching five main numbers and the Bonus Ball, you can buy Irish Lotto tickets online or from authorised retailers.
