Irish Lottery Results for Wednesday 19th August 2015
The Irish Lotto jackpot rolled over last night for the third time since a syndicate of two scooped €2.5 million in the draw on Saturday 8th August. Although no one could claim the €2.8 million on offer, more than 23,000 prize-winning tickets matched at least three of the winning numbers 5, 16, 18, 23, 35 and 42 plus Bonus Ball 8 to bag some nice sums of cash.
Prizes in the main game ranged from €5 for the 20,452 Irish Lotto players who matched three main numbers up to €1,887 awarded to 23 ticket holders who matched five main numbers. In Lotto Plus 1, two players matched five main numbers and the Bonus Ball to pocket €3,500. Click on the Results tab to see the full prize breakdowns from the Irish Lotto, Lotto Plus 1 and Lotto Plus 2 draws.
It has been a busy week at the lottery offices in Dublin, with a man who bought his ticket for the EuroMillions draw on Friday 14th August in Newport, Co Mayo collecting his €206,760 cheque for matching five main numbers and one Lucky Star. He was closely followed by a couple, also from Mayo, who hit the €500,000 top prize in the EuroMillions Plus draw on Tuesday 11th August.
If you hope to be booking your own appointment in the capital to pick up a €3.5 million bounty from next Saturday’s draw, you will need to buy Irish Lotto tickets. They are available at authorised retailers throughout the Republic or online at the Tickets page, wherever you live. Good luck!
