Irish Lottery Results for Wednesday 8th April 2015
There was a lot to celebrate for Irish lottery players last night, as one ticket holder scooped the €2 million Lotto jackpot and the top prizes in the Lotto Plus 1 and Lotto Plus 2 games were also won. It is the second draw in a row that the Lotto jackpot has been claimed after a petrol station in Co Meath sold an entry worth €10.6 million on Saturday.
The lucky winner on Wednesday evening purchased their ticket online and successfully matched all six main Irish Lotto numbers - 2, 4, 22, 26, 30 and 36. The Bonus Ball was 7 and one player was successful in matching five of the main numbers and the Bonus Ball to earn €25,000. Another 25 participants matched five main numbers to walk away with €1,738 each, and there were over 26,000 other ticket holders pocketing cash prizes worth between €5 for matching three main numbers and €118 for matching four main numbers plus the Bonus Ball.
There was one winner of the €350,000 top prize in the Lotto Plus 1 game, with the ticket sold in the South East of Ireland. Two players grabbed €3,500 for matching five main numbers and the Bonus Ball, and there were over 20,000 winners of cash prizes. In the Lotto Plus 2 game, one participant matched all six main numbers with a ticket bought in Dublin to land €250,000, while four players matched five main numbers and the Bonus Ball to net €2,500 each. For a breakdown of the prizes in all of yesterday’s games, check out the Irish Lotto Results page.
The next Lotto jackpot on Saturday will be €2 million and there is plenty of time to enter before sales close at 7.40pm on the night. Last night’s winner bought their ticket online, and you can do the same by using the Tickets page, or you can visit an authorised retailer in Ireland. The possibilities are endless for what you could do with €2 million, so join in with the fun and good luck.
