Irish Lotto Results for Saturday 17th January 2015
The Irish Lotto jackpot has soared to €7.5 million after Saturday’s draw, in which no players were able to match all six main numbers drawn. The top prize hasn’t been won since 10th December 2014, when a €2.8 million pre-Christmas windfall fell into the hands of a single ticket holder.
While the jackpot, worth €6.8 million, remained out of the grasp of ticket holders this weekend, there were still more than 36,000 prize winners on Saturday who matched some of the winning numbers, which were 8, 13, 22, 23, 43 and 45 with Bonus Ball 33. Cash amounts picked up by ticket holders ranged from €5 for matching three main numbers to €2,032 for matching five main numbers.
Plenty of participants in the supplementary Lotto Plus 1 and Lotto Plus 2 draws also snapped up tidy payouts in what is perhaps the most financially stressful time of the month. A single Plus 1 player from Dublin won €350,000 after matching all six main numbers drawn on the night. Visit the Results page for a full breakdown of all the prizes and details surrounding the latest Irish Lotto, Lotto Plus 1 and Lotto Plus 2 draws.
As the jackpot increases in value, scores of hopeful punters throughout the Republic will be buying Irish Lotto tickets and crossing their fingers. If you think that you have what it takes to beat the odds and become the first Irish Lotto jackpot winner of 2015 on Wednesday, then make sure you grab your entries online by visiting the Tickets tab or by purchasing them in person from an authorised retailer. Good luck!
