Irish Lotto Results for Saturday 21st February 2015
The Irish Lotto jackpot rolled over for the fifth time in a row after no player could match all six main numbers drawn on Saturday night to win the €3.9 million that was up for grabs. Wednesday’s top prize will now be worth €4.5 million.
The winning line was 12, 27, 28, 39, 41 and 45 with Bonus Ball 25. There were more than 30,000 ticket holders who matched some of those numbers to win cash prizes, from the 26,566 participants who matched three main numbers to win a fixed prize of €5 to the 37 players who matched five main numbers to win €1,735. You can access a full prize breakdown on the Results page, which also provides details on the latest Lotto Plus 1 and Lotto Plus 2 draws.
Ireland’s largest homegrown lottery game has had a rather wild month. Just as the jackpot hit €10.2 million in time for the draw on Wednesday 4th February, a service outage caused the entire network to go down. The game was postponed for the first time in Irish Lotto history, with a single ticket holder from County Kildare scooping the lot in rescheduled draw held on Thursday 4th February.
That winner still has plenty of time to come forward and claim their prize, but the sand in the hourglass is running out for an Irish Lotto jackpot winner who snapped up their windfall on November 29th of last year, has until Friday 27th February - the end of this week - to claim their winnings. If you bought a ticket around that time, turn your house, car and office upside down now, as you could be sitting on the payday of a lifetime!
If you want the chance to become a millionaire and surprise your nearest and dearest when you bring in that oversized cheque, then visit the Tickets page to purchase Irish Lotto tickets online from wherever you are in the world. You can also buy tickets in person from authorised retailers located throughout the Republic. Good luck and have fun!
