Irish Lotto Results for Saturday 23rd April 2016
An Irish Lotto player picked up the jackpot of €7.9 million on Saturday 23rd April, the result of 11 rollovers since a syndicate scooped €2.5 million on Saturday 12th March. The winning ticket was bought at a Londis in Wexford, with manager Michael Hanrahan telling the press he is certain the lucky player is a resident of the town.
The winning Irish Lotto numbers were 1, 9, 15, 23, 33 and 38 with Bonus Ball 29 and other prizes won on the night ranged from a €3 scratchcard for matching two main numbers and the Bonus Ball to €1,241 for matching five main numbers. You can take a look at the full prize breakdown from Irish Lotto and the results and prize information from Lotto Plus 1, Lotto Plus 2 and Lotto Plus Raffle at the Results page.
Speculation is rife throughout Wexford as to the identity of the owner of the lucky €12 ticket, which was purchased on the day of the draw. The player is the fourth Irish Lotto jackpot winner of 2016 and has 90 days following Saturday’s draw to present their slip to lottery bosses before the prize expires. A recent Match 5+1 award of €117,317 was returned to the Irish Lottery after the owner of the winning ticket, bought in Co Limerick, failed to come forward before 5:30pm on Friday 15th April.
This Wednesday’s jackpot is worth a guaranteed €2 million and you can buy Irish Lotto tickets online through the Tickets page or from authorised retailers in Ireland right now. Good luck!
