Irish Lotto Results for Saturday 23rd May 2015
Over 35,000 players landed prizes in the Irish Lotto on Saturday 23rd May and there were thousands more winners in the Lotto Plus 1 and Lotto Plus 2 games. Nobody was quite able to scoop the Irish Lotto jackpot, driving up the top prize to a very attractive €4 million ahead of Wednesday’s draw.
The jackpot on Saturday was worth €3.4 million and the winning numbers were 6, 21, 23, 28, 30 and 32 with Bonus Ball 39. There were 42 players who matched five of the main numbers to become €1,436 richer, while other prizes spanned between €5 for matching three main numbers to €207 for matching four main numbers plus the Bonus Ball.
The biggest winner on the night was a player in the Lotto Plus 1 game who matched five of the main numbers plus the Bonus to grab €3,500. The two supplementary draws produced over 50,000 prize winners, and you can visit the Results section to find a full breakdown of how many ticket holders there were in each tier.
Winners have 90 days from the date of the draw to come forward and collect their money, and the player who bought a ticket worth €5.9 million at a Mullingar supermarket on Saturday 9th May has yet to claim their prize. However, the lucky couple who landed the top prize of €250,000 in Lotto Plus 2 on Wednesday 20th May have come forward to National Lottery offices.
The pair are also from Mullingar and were watching on television when they saw their numbers come up. One of the winners said: “I had my ticket in my hand. The first number matched, then the second and the third. My heart was racing - I couldn’t believe it.”
If you would like to emulate this lucky pair, or maybe even hit tomorrow night’s Irish Lotto jackpot of €4 million, then join in the fun and get your hands on a ticket, either by clicking the tickets tab or getting down to an authorised retailer in Ireland.
