Saturday’s Irish Lotto draw saw fortune favour two lucky players, with each scooping an amazing €94,673 by correctly matching five main numbers and the Bonus Ball. There were no winners of the €2.5 million jackpot on offer, but that didn’t stop over 43,000 other participants from securing prizes on what proved to be a great night for Irish Lotto fans.
The winning numbers were 14, 21, 23, 25, 30 and 34, with 17 making an appearance as the Bonus Ball. In addition to the two largest prize winners on the night, 34 players had a good number of reasons to celebrate after they each won an amazing €1,163 by matching five main numbers. A further 25,341 players each secured prizes worth between €9 for matching three main numbers and €138 for matching four main numbers and the Bonus Ball, while there will be plenty of fingers crossed throughout the country in the next few days as 17,965 players each won a €3 scratch card by matching two main numbers and the Bonus Ball.
One lucky Lotto Plus 2 player managed to overcome the odds to claim €2,500 by matching five main numbers and the Bonus Ball in the supplementary game. Though there were no winners of either the Lotto Plus 1 or the Lotto Plus 2 jackpot, there was plenty of joy for players in the Lotto Plus Raffle, where 115 ticket holders walked away with €300 apiece by matching the winning code of 3074.
