Irish Lotto Results for Saturday 3rd October 2015
The first Irish Lotto draw of October failed to produce a top prize winner who could walk away with the €2 million sum on offer, but tens of thousands of ticket holders still grabbed lovely cash prizes in Saturday’s game. The top prize was last won on Wednesday 30th September, when a single ticket holder snapped up €2.9 million.
The winning numbers for Saturday’s draw were 1, 15, 17, 31, 36 and 45 with Bonus Ball 18. Two players matched five main numbers and the Bonus Ball to pick up a tidy €32,392 each, while another 13 ticket holders grabbed €2,988 each for matching all five main numbers drawn. More than 38,000 other winners in the main game received prizes, from a €3 scratchcard for matching two main numbers and the Bonus Ball to €142 for matching four main numbers and the Bonus Ball.
Over 20,000 players cleaned up in the Lotto Plus games, with one participant snagging €5,000 for matching five main numbers and the Bonus Ball in Lotto Plus 1. An additional 108 participants scooped a cool €300 each on the Lotto Plus Raffle after matching the winning code of 6586. For a full breakdown of the prizes scooped in all of Saturday’s games, visit the Irish Lotto Results page for the draw.
Everyone has different dreams about what they’d do with the sort of money they’d receive for matching those six main numbers. Sun-soaked holidays, new homes, sponsoring your local football club - all of it can be made possible by playing Irish Lotto and Lotto Plus. Greg Smyth, who won a €9.4 million jackpot in 2008, has just splashed out on a lovely five-bedroom house in Drogheda as well as an Audi RS6 Quattro. According to the Irish Mirror, Greg, who is the son of golfer Des Smyth, was a student at the time and now has many happy, fun-filled years ahead of him thanks to Irish Lotto.
Your next chance to grab an Irish Lotto fortune will be on Wednesday 7th October, when the top prize will be worth an estimated €2.5 million. Tickets are available online wherever you are in the world or in person from authorised retailers in countless locations across Ireland. Good luck and have fun!
