The winning Irish Lotto line was 14, 22, 37, 40, 43 and 45 with Bonus Ball 13 and other prizes distributed in the main draw ranged from a €3 scratchcard for the 15,488 players who matched two main numbers and the Bonus Ball to €1,612 for 27 ticket holders who matched five main balls. The winner of the second biggest Irish Lotto jackpot of 2016 has finally made contact with lottery officials, having scooped €8.2 million on Saturday 5th March. The ticket was bought in Sligo and sold by the town’s former mayor, Matt Lyons. Officials have yet to reveal when the player will make the trip to lottery headquarters in Dublin to pick up their giant cheque and whether or not they will choose to go public with their good news.
