Irish Lotto Results for Wednesday 13th May 2015
There were no winners of the €2 million jackpot on Irish Lotto last night but one player was able to match five main numbers plus the Bonus Ball, and there were over 22,000 ticket holders in total who picked up prizes. Fans had been hoping the top prize would be claimed for a second draw in a row following the success of one participant on Saturday who pocketed £5.9 million, but nobody quite managed to match all six main numbers drawn.
The winning line last night was 10, 14, 29, 34, 39 and 42 with Bonus Ball 38. The participant who came closest was in the Match 5 + Bonus tier and walked away with a very tidy €25,000. There were also 30 players who snapped up €1,494 each as a result of matching five main numbers, while other prizes spanned from €5 for matching three main numbers to €201 for matching four main numbers plus the Bonus.
One of the great benefits of the Irish Lotto is that players get further chances to earn money in the supplementary games, Lotto Plus 1 and Lotto Plus 2. There were two ticket holders in the Lotto Plus 1 draw this Wednesday who matched five main numbers plus the Bonus to win €3,500 each. For more information on the prize breakdowns from the main draw, as well as Lotto Plus 1 and Lotto Plus 2, click through to the Irish Lotto Results page.
The Irish Lotto jackpot will now rise to €2.5 million for Saturday’s draw, and players are sure to be buying tickets in droves in anticipation of another opportunity to become a millionaire. The winning entry last weekend was purchased at a Tesco in Mullingar just hours before the draw was made, so it shows that you never know when and where a lucky ticket will be sold.
If you fancy getting your hands on a life-changing amount of cash, make sure to buy tickets online or pop down to an authorised retailer in Ireland. Sales close at 7.45pm on Saturday, or five minutes earlier online, so there is still plenty of time. Have fun and good luck.
