Wednesday’s Irish Lotto jackpot will reach €2.5 million, a week after a married couple, who bought their ticket in Ennis, Co. Clare bagged the €5.3 million top prize. The pair, who wished to remain anonymous, were passing through the town on Wednesday 28th October, the day of the draw, when they stopped to pick up their entries at O’Keefe’s Roslevan Stores.
They revealed they usually play their own numbers but decided to add a Quick Pick line for Wednesday’s draw on a whim. That was the lucky selection that made Ireland’s newest millionaires and they now plan to treat their children and grandchildren, jet off to Las Vegas and purchase a convertible Ferrari.
If you fancy picking up a €2.5 million fortune, you can buy Irish Lotto tickets now through the Tickets page or at any authorised retailer throughout the Republic of Ireland.
