Irish Lotto Results for Wednesday 8th July 2015
There were more than 22,000 players who picked up Irish Lotto prizes on Wednesday 8th July, but the jackpot proved to be just out of reach. The top prize will now climb to an estimated €3.5 million for Saturday night’s draw following a third straight rollover.
The winning numbers last night were 2, 10, 21, 28, 40 and 43 with Bonus Ball 8. One ticket holder came tantalisingly close to landing the €2.8 million jackpot as they matched five main numbers plus the Bonus Ball to earn €25,000. Another 19 participants matched five main numbers to pick up €2,346 each, while other prizes won on the night ranged from €5 for matching three main numbers to €155 for matching four main numbers plus the Bonus Ball. Find out the full prize breakdown, as well as the winning Lotto Plus 1 and Lotto Plus 2 numbers, in the Results section.
The Irish Lotto jackpot was last scooped on Saturday 27th June when a single ticket matched the six main numbers drawn, although nobody has yet come forward to claim their winnings. Some players are much quicker to come and collect their cheque, and yesterday a young married couple from Drogheda visited National Lottery offices after winning the top prize of €500,000 on EuroMillions Plus on Tuesday 7th July. The husband explained that he only bought a ticket because he had €3 left in charge after buying dinner and had enough for one line on the EuroMillions and EuroMillions Plus draws.
Lottery fans can now look forward to the next EuroMillions draw on Friday, before the Irish Lotto takes place again on Saturday evening. You can buy tickets online or from any authorised retailer in Ireland, and it could just be that you receive a massive windfall which allows you to fulfil all your dreams. Get involved now and have fun.
