Irish Lotto Results for Wednesday 9th March 2016
There were over 36,000 Irish Lotto players who picked up prizes in the draw on Wednesday 9th March, but there was to be no repeat of the jackpot success from the previous game on Saturday. The owner of that jackpot-winning ticket, worth €8.2 million, has still not come forward to claim their magnificent seven-figure cheque.
The numbers drawn last night were 4, 6, 12, 13, 15 and 31 with Bonus Ball 14. Although nobody pocketed the €2 million jackpot, there were some great prizes given away, ranging from a €3 scratchcard for matching two main numbers plus the Bonus Ball up to €1,242 for matching five main numbers.
The Irish Lotto Plus 1 and Irish Lotto Plus 2 draws produced thousands more winners, while 74 participants matched the winning Lotto Plus Raffle number of 9502 to land €300 each. Check out the Irish Lottery Results section for more information about all the latest games, including full prize breakdowns.
The jackpot had previously been won on Saturday by a player who bought their ticket at the Stop & Shop store in Sligo. Shopkeeper Matt Lyons, the former Mayor of Sligo, has encouraged all his recent customers to have another look at their numbers. He said in the Irish Independent: “My advice to anyone who was in my shop at all over the past few days would be to check those numbers because it could be any of them.”
There will be another chance to win big this coming Saturday, when the top prize will be worth €2.5 million. Tickets can be bought online or from authorised retailers anywhere in Ireland, and anyone who picks up a decent prize will be able to look ahead to a fantastic spring and summer. Good luck!
