Irish Lotto Results for Wednesday 9th September 2015
The Irish Lotto jackpot is set to rise to €6.5 million for Saturday’s draw after nobody matched all six main numbers on Wednesday 9th September. The numbers drawn were 2, 6, 21, 26, 43 and 45 with Bonus Ball 12, and it was still a successful night for many players as over 32,000 ticket holders picked up prizes.
A new prize tier for matching two main numbers plus the Bonus Ball was introduced last week as one of several changes made to the game, and 14,518 participants who would previously have been unrewarded were last night able to receive a €3 scratchcard. There were 16 players who matched five main numbers to each earn €1,946, while the other prizes fell between €10 for matching three main numbers and €154 for matching four main numbers plus the Bonus Ball.
There were thousands more ticket holders who scooped prizes thanks to Lotto Plus, including 86 players of the Lotto Plus Raffle who matched the winning code of 1264 to each get €300. The Lotto Plus 1 prizes have all been increased as part of of the recent changes and you can find the winning numbers from Lotto Plus 1 and Lotto Plus 2, as well as a full Irish Lotto prize breakdown, in the Results section.
Irish Lotto fans can now turn their attention to the next draw and the chance to end a run of nine rollovers. A duo on holiday in Rosslare bought a ticket worth €2.5 million for the game on Saturday 8th August, and the jackpot has proved to be just out of reach ever since. If you fancy getting your hands on a seven-figure sum this Saturday or landing any of the other fabulous prizes on offer, then make sure to buy Irish Lotto tickets online or by visiting authorised retailers in Ireland. Good luck!
