Irish Lotto Ticket Holder Lands €5.3 Million on Wednesday 28th October
One lucky player scooped a fantastic €5.3 million in the Irish Lotto draw on Wednesday 28th October after matching all six of the main numbers. It was the first time the jackpot had been won this month and only the third instance of the top prize being picked up since a number of changes were made to the game ahead of the draw on Saturday 5th September.
The numbers drawn were 5, 7, 10, 18, 41 and 47 with Bonus Ball 44, and the jackpot-winning ticket was sold in the Mid-West as a run of seven rollovers came to an end. It was the first time the number 47 had been drawn in the main game since the ball pool was increased by two from 45, and thousands of other players also had reason to celebrate after pocketing prizes.
The other rewards given away ranged from from a €3 scratchcard for matching two main numbers plus the Bonus Ball to €1,186 for matching five main numbers. Find a full prize breakdown, as well as the winning Lotto Plus 1 and Lotto Plus 2 numbers, in the Irish Lotto Results section. There were also 75 Lotto Plus Raffle ticket holders who each snapped up €300 after matching the winning number of 3533.
The next Irish Lotto draw will take place on Saturday night and a jackpot of €2 million will be available. If you strike it lucky you could go out and buy a luxury new home, purchase the car of your dreams or jet off around the world on a series of wonderful holidays. You will need a ticket to be in with a chance though, and entries can be made online or through authorised retailers in Ireland. Have fun and good luck!
