Saturday's Irish Lottery Jackpot Winners Revealed
There was a rollover jackpot on offer to win in the Irish Lottery draw at the weekend and the results from this draw showed that the jackpot was won by two winning tickets. The top prize was worth just over €2.5 million so the tickets split this prize to each take home €1.25 million and now one of winning tickets from Saturday’s Irish Lottery draw has been revealed.
One of the lucky ticket holders is Ger Hand and his wife Ann who are from Lanesboro, Co Longford. Although these winners are yet to be named in a press conference they went into their local lottery retailers and announced their success to the shop. However, this shop was also successful because not only did they sell one of the winning jackpot tickets in Saturday’s draw but also sold the only winning second tier Lotto prize, which is always worth €25,000.
As there were two jackpot winners in Saturday’s draw the top prize was shared evenly between each winner and although we know the identity of one of the winners, all that is known about the other winner is that they are from Ballina, Co Mayo and are yet to come forward.
This Irish Lottery jackpot win means that tonight’s top prize resets and go back to basics so it is estimated at €2 million – so will this top prize be won twice in a row or will it start to rollover?
The latest results will be available on the Irish Lottery results page shortly after tonight’s draw has taken place.
