Six Ticket Holders Win the Irish Lottery Jackpot
The results from Saturday’s Irish Lottery draw revealed that a total of six ticket holders matched all six main numbers drawn to share the jackpot worth €3.5 million.
The winning tickets were purchased in the South, South East, East, North East, Mid-West and Dublin and matched all six main numbers drawn, which were 4, 5, 13, 21, 29 and 37, to share the €3.5 million jackpot. As there were six jackpot winning tickets, each ticket holder won €588,144. This number of jackpot winners is unusual and last time this happened was on the 18th March 2006 when the six winners in that draw each won €225,000.
Following the jackpot winners, two ticket holders matched five main numbers and the Bonus Ball to win €25,000 each and 209 players matched five main numbers to win €314 each. In addition to the winners in the main draw, one lucky ticket holder matched all six main numbers drawn in the Irish Lotto Plus 1 game to win the top prize worth €350,000.
