Two Ticket Holders Scoop Irish Lotto Jackpot
The Irish Lotto jackpot for Wednesday 10th June was split by two ticket holders who have each become €2.9 million richer. The tickets, purchased online and in Dublin, nabbed a jackpot of €5.8 million after a series of eight rollovers.
The winning line was 11, 16, 21, 27, 29 and 35 with Bonus Ball 43. In addition to the two jackpot winners, three ticket holders matched five main numbers and the Bonus Ball to snap up a welcome €25,000 each, with all other prizes in the main game worth between €5 for matching three main numbers and €1,032 for matching five main numbers.
It was also a good night for fans of the supplementary games, as one Lotto Plus 2 player who purchased their ticket in Dublin matched all six main numbers numbers drawn in the game to win the top prize of €250,000. Over 28,000 ticket holders pocketed cash prizes in Lotto Plus 1, including one winner of €3,500. Have a look at the Irish Lotto Results page for a prize breakdown from the draws.
It looks like it’s going to be a great weekend for lottery players in Ireland - there’s a €2 million jackpot to play for on Irish Lotto as well as €129 million on offer in Friday’s EuroMillions draw. If you want the chance to be lounging on a beach in some exotic location by Tuesday afternoon after handing in your notice at work, you need to get involved with both of these great lottery games. Entries can be purchased online at the Tickets page or in person from any authorised retailer in Ireland. Good luck!
