Two Tickets Share Irish Lottery Jackpot
Last night the first Irish Lottery draw of the week took place and as there hasn’t been a top prize so far for this month many players were hoping to match the numbers drawn in the results to win the jackpot. This was the case last night as luck must have been with two tickets that they both matched the six numbers drawn to share the Irish Lottery jackpot. This meant that the two tickets which were purchased in the South East and the North of Ireland shared the €5.7 million jackpot so each took home €2,885,581.
The Irish Lottery results from last night’s draw if you haven’t seen them already are 2, 7, 12, 15, 26, 28 and 45. In total there were over 42,000 ticket holders that won a prize in last night’s draw and as the jackpot was won it means that Saturday’s jackpot goes back to basics so it is estimated at €2 million. These ticket holders have not just won the Irish Lottery jackpot but have also become the first top prize in this lottery for this month. The jackpot rolled over an impressive seven times to reach the €5.7 million that was on offer in last night’s draw and as there is only one more draw left in the Irish Lottery for this month it will be interesting to see if any players can carry on the winning streak.
If you fancy winning the jackpot and joining these top prize winners them make sure you have your tickets ready for Saturday’s draw.
