Two Tickets Win the Impressive Irish Lottery Jackpot
As the Irish Lottery jackpot has been rolling over for the past few weeks now and many players in Saturday’s draw were crossing their fingers and hoping to win the top prize in this lottery. This was definitely the case for a few players as two tickets managed to match all six of the numbers drawn in the Irish Lottery results to win the impressive Irish Lottery jackpot that came out at €11,526,001 – meaning that each ticket, one of which was bought in the East and one in the North East, took home just over €5.7 million each.
The Irish Lottery results in case you haven’t seen them already from Saturday’s draw were 6, 11, 19, 23, 32, 41 and the Bonus Ball was 16. To add to the two tickets that won the jackpot there were four tickets that matched five numbers along with the Bonus Ball to each win €25,000. In addition a further 4,329 tickets won €48 by matching four numbers and then just over 69,000 won the smallest Irish Lottery prize that is worth €5 by matching just three of the numbers drawn in the Irish Lottery results.
This Irish Lottery jackpot win is not only the highest amount won this year, but it is also the largest amount won for quite a few months. Whether the holders of either of these winning Irish Lottery jackpot tickets will come forward remains to be seen, however this top prize win means that the Irish Lottery jackpot now goes back to basics for its next draw, so it is now estimated at €2 million.
