Wednesday's Irish Lotto Draw Boasts €5 Million Jackpot
Irish Lotto players are gearing up for an exciting draw on Wednesday as there is a €5 million jackpot at stake. The jackpot, which is the largest seen in the lottery since the beginning of August, comes after the previous six draws have passed without a top-tier winner.
The winning numbers from Saturday’s draw were 8, 24, 33, 35, 40 and 43 with Bonus Ball 31. The results revealed that over 30,000 players took home a prize, including one lucky ticket holder who matched five main numbers plus the Bonus Ball to win the fixed second tier prize of €25,000. Following this lucky winner were 33 players who matched five main numbers to win €1,967 and 88 ticket holders who matched four main numbers and the Bonus Ball to win €185. The remaining players won amounts worth between €5 for matching three main numbers and €62 for matching four main numbers.
In the additional Lotto Plus 1 draw, two ticket holders struck it lucky and matched all six numbers drawn to each win a jackpot prize worth €350,000. One of the winning tickets was purchased from a retailer in Dublin while the other was purchased online. If you purchased an Irish Lotto ticket with Lotto Plus 1 included for Saturday’s draw either online or from a retailer in Dublin, then now is the time to check your tickets as you could be one of the Lotto Plus 1 jackpot winners!
A full prize breakdown from Saturday’s draw can be found on the Irish Lottery Results page.
There hasn’t been an Irish Lotto jackpot winner for just over three weeks, so if you’d like a chance to beat the odds and winning the €5 million top-tier prize, then make sure that you participate in Wednesday’s draw. Tickets can be purchased online via the Lottery Tickets page or from an authorised retailer.
